Calling all prayer warriors...

"But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manor of life, purpose, faith, long suffering, love, perseverance  persecutions, afflictions which happened to me...what persecutions I endured. And out of THEM ALL the Lord delivered me."  -2 Timothy 3:10-11

This upcoming month myself and two others will have the privileged of working with 10 young ladies, all between the ages of 12 and 17. All from various places, back rounds, families, and life styles. I don't know what kind of expectations they will have for this month long program. I don't even know what all they should expect. I do know one thing: God will work, all we need to do is pray.

Spiritual warfare is something not often mentioned. Yet, it is something we are confronted with every single day. Growing up in a Christian home, I had heard scary stories and knew that "demons were the bad guys." But not until the last month or so has the whole concept of the unseen world become strikingly real to me.

"Finally brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye might be able to stand the whiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day..." -Ephesians 6:10-14

So why am I saying all this? It's not to freak ya'll out-I promise. :) I'm addressing this, because I need YOUR help. This is a shout out to all my faithful prayer warriors. I need you this month. Please be praying against the enemy. Be praying for these ten girls, that during this month God would impact their lives. Be praying for me and the two other leaders, that we would be completely empty vessels for God, that everything we say and do would glorify our heavenly Father. After all, who are we doing this for?

"No one engaged in warfare entangles himself in the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." -2 Timothy 2:4

Thanks for reading. (I'm sorry this was so long!)
I will keep ya'll posted. Be praying!

In His Arms,
<3 D

  1. I'm putting you on my prayer list right now. I hope it turns out to be a great experience! If this is what I'm thinking it is (I saw something like this on IBLP) then it looks like it will be great.
