I know I am home when...

...no matter what time I shower, my towel is always wet.

...it is considered "normal" to act out a fish jumping in the ocean.

...I find myself sleeping in a room where at least 3 people are snoring.

...breaking out into random songs from musicals is how to make 16 hours in a car go by quickly.

...there is more than 3 brands of shampoo to choose from.

...I look into the fridge and there is more than 9 containers of left overs.

...there is at least one person (outside of my family,) in my house at all times.

...the going rate to pay someone to do the dishes on "your day" is 2 dollars.

...at least 2 different rooms in the house are blasting music at all times.

...anything with more sugar than frosted flakes gets devoured within ten minutes of bringing it inside.

...you can't sneeze without someone immediately imitating it.

...the shower head doesn't whistle at you.

...Moshu Sheshu and Tumbly Bumblys are the only games worth playing.

...Finding Nemo is quoted in ridiculous amounts.

...someone's body part is always injured.

...3 gallons of milk is bought every shopping trip.

...my personal bubble is thrown out the window.

...the majority of my clothing is worn by other people.

...going to the grocery store is considered a family field trip.

...the dog is considered the personal vacuum cleaner.

...it is socially excepted to pretend you are in the Avengers.

...someone is always doing something they aren't suppose to be doing.

...everyone aspires to become a ninja.

...having a personal item is a joke.

...the hairs in my hairbrush aren't my own.

...someone is constantly either singing, humming, or whistling.

...I have to sharpie my initials on the insides of every sock I own.

...the above..(whatever that is?) is done quite often.

...I only consume 26% of any bag of candy I buy.

...the desire to have the car window rolled down requires 2 people and 3 suctions cups.

...the garage holds 19 lawn mowers.

...being asked if my family is a day care is not unusual when hanging out with siblings and cousins.

...it's impossible to be alone for longer than 10 minutes.

...someone is always laughing.

I know I am home when...I don't ever wanna leave.

What do I know of Holy

I made you promises a thousand times
I've tried to hear from heaven
but I talk the whole time
I think I made you to small
I never feared you at all, no

If you touched my face would I know you
looked into my eyes could I behold you

What do I know of you
who spoke me into motion
Where have I even stood
but the shore along your ocean
Are you fire, are you fiery
Are you sacred, are you beautiful
So what do I know
What do I know of Holy

I guess I thought
that I had figured you out
I knew all the stories
and I learned to talk about
How you were mighty to save
but those were only empty words on a page

Then I caught a glimpse of who you might be
the slightest hint of you brought me down to my knees

So what do I know of you
who spoke me into motion
Where have I even stood
but the shore along your ocean
Are you fire, are you fiery
Are you sacred, are you beautiful
So what do I know
What do I know of Holy

What do I know of Holy
What do I know of wounds that will heal my shame
and a God who gave life it's name
What do I know of Holy
of the one who the angels praise
All creation knows your name
on earth and heaven above
What do I know of this love

So what do I know of you
who spoke me into motion
Where have I even stood
but the shore along your ocean
Are you fire, are you fiery
Are you sacred, are you beautiful
Lord, what do I know
What do I know of Holy
What do I know of Holy
What do I know of Holy

Big Sandy, TX :: "He will be with you..."

"The LORD...
is the ONE who goes before you...
                                       HE will be with you...
HE will not leave you or forsake you...
Do not fear or be dismay."
                                                                                                    Deuteronomy 31:8

God completely blew my mind throughout the entire Big Sandy Conference. One miracle after another, He showed himself powerful, capable, and in complete control. One hundred and fifty-six was the final count of young girl who attended the program. I know the girls were touched by all the truths shared that week. To God be all of the glory. None, and I am talking NONE of it could of happened without His perfect hand guiding each and every step. I count myself incredibly blessed to be apart of it.

Here are some pictures from the Big Sandy Conference...

One the way back from Texas, myself and a few others from the team spent a few days in Skiatook, Oklahoma, visiting family and friends.
While there we had the opportunity to shoot skeet. (Which was a first for me.) =)
Following are some pictures of our time there...

Over all, life is good and God is even better!
One conference down, three more to go, next stop Nashville, Tennessee! =)
